Hi,
I have installed libnl-devel-1.1-5.fc10.i386 and
iw-0.9.11-1.fc10.i386 packeges on two systems with Fedora Core 10
(2.6.27.5-117.fc10.i686). The both of wireless cards are D-Link
AirPlus Xtreme G DWL-G520 with Atheros AR5212 chipset. After adding
mesh interface to the wlan , I executed 'iw dev mesh station dump' but
it did not return any thing. Also, in response of 'iw dev mesh scan
dump' it was 'Operation not supported (-95)'.
By configuring the mesh interfaces in both systems and adding local
ip addresses to them and making them up, below messages were
represented continuously in one of the systems:
ath5k phy0: unable to reset hardware (-11)
ath5k phy0: noise floor calibration timeout
.
.
.
I have also run some capture tools such as Wireshark and debug of
ath5k driver. When each one of mesh nodes ping other node, such tools
show some unknown broadcast packets which transmit from that node but
none of the nodes receive any thing.
Would you please help me and guide me how can I make my mesh
network.
Best Regards,
Abbas
