Hi, I want to set up a Mesh Access Point by ath5k.
I use compat-wireless-2009-08-20.
It tests in the environment that has been described as follows.
MP0 --- MP1 and AP--- STA can communicate by "ping".
MP0:192.168.1.3
MP1:0.0.0.0
BR0:192.168.1.1
AP0:0.0.0.0
STA0:192.168.1.2
MP0 ---- MP1=BR0=AP0 ---- STA0
MP
*MP1 and AP0 set the bridge.
-----------------------------------
brctl addbr br0
brctl addif br0 mp1
brctl addif br0 ap0
-----------------------------------
But, MP0 can't communicate with STA0.
1.MP0: ARP Request is resolved.
2.MP0: Send Action(Mesh Path Selection Request) destination address STA0
MP1 don't reply Action(Mesh Path Selection Respoinse).
So, I think MP0 doesn't know mesh route for STA0.
How does MP1 come to be able to reply to MP0 Action(Mesh Path Selection Respoinse) Frame?
I think that it becomes impossible to communicate an external terminal
(equipment connected with MPP /MAP) after 8/10 mesh code is changed.
<mesh code is changed on git.kernel.org - wireless-testing (09/08/10)>
Modificationof 8/10 is the correction which is based on the specification
modification of the Multicast/Broadcast address use method of Draft3,
but is not mounted becoming insufficient of route formation
to bevis-a-vis modification, probably will be?
